I totally ignore LinkedIn but I figure that's where professional contacts belong.  FaceBook I limit to people I care about -- friends, family, and clients who are friends.

I always accept invites. Most of the time they are either friends, or people who are in the industry. You never know where a good lead could come from and since I post a fairly decent amount of all of my social media sites I make sure to get the most outreach!
