we don't provide a smoking area....no smoking.... we have one or two agents who DO smoke and they go in the back of the building and/or sit in their vehicles and absorb the disgusting odor of smoke....and they wonder why they don't make more money!!!! their clients can't tolerate being near them....yup, I'm a reformed smoker.... 20 years ago....

Cigarette smoking? I think that is done virtually now. It's very MadMen.

No smoking in my brokerage. The local bylaw stipulates the distance away from building entrances that smoking can occur.

It is so far back of the building that it qualifies as a quarter mile dash in inclement weather.

There is no designated smoking area at the office. When you smoke you're blinded be these offensive traits. Quit and their presence takes on a whole new light. I've traveled to some really remote locations and always see a butt or two somewhere along the path, it's very sad.

Good Wednesday morning Paul. My office is a smoke-free area! I do not hire smokers. I detest the habit.

It is at the side and back of the building. We don't have many smokers anymore so I don't see anyone out there on the decks.

It seems like they and other businesses decide to let everyone walk through the smoke to get in the main door.

We work out of our home so this is not an issue. We don't smoke anywhere.

Our former brokerage was located in a bank building and I think there were standing ash trays at the front door. I do believe that if someone smokes they should have enough intelligence to go walk at least 100 ft. away. If they're not that smart, tell them.

Yes, but it's in the back. And if we have clients light up out front, I quickly put a stop to it and move them to the back. No way do I want non smoking clients and consumers and agents to have to deal with that.

No smoking areas at the offices I've worked at. I don't smoke so don't have much insight, my guess is the rule is just to be curtious towards others.
