Being active and healthy is a key and attractive is in the mind of the beholder.

When would attrctive and fit ever be a negative.

Just remember, pretty is as pretty does.

I can't imagine attractive and fit being a negative.

Based on the top producers in my MLS I'd have to say no

Being attractive and fit have a huge impact on me. If I look bad and feel sick, my level of confidence drops, no good for business.

Looks matter in most industries. That’s just the world we live in. I think confidence is the most attractive quality.

Sure... when I feel and look good, I have more energy... that provides a positive impact.

High percentage of Realtors in Orange County California are fit and attractive. Where us lenders can be smart and ugly lol

Attractive and fit is something everyone can achieve if they so desire.  It has nothing to do with selling properties.

If you are good at heart, it shows up on your face, in your personality and in your behavior - and that matters more!

Now if you have charming personality on top of that....nothing can beat that!

Vashon Christian I believe being professional and having an attractive and fit personality will do the job nicely.

When you are fit, you tend to feel better about yourself and that translates into self confidance. "Attractive" if it means taking care of yourself, falls into the same category.

I think dressing professionally and looking nice always helps.

I think in real estate and in life, its confidence in oneself that makes you more attractive. 

Not for me, but I do have plenty of other things going for me.

At the end of the day, be good at your job. If someone chooses you because you are attractive or fit, then you might be put into some uncomfortable situations. It's not been a problem for me but there is an agent in my office who has been put into a couple of uncomfortable situations because her client thought that because she was friendly, attractive, and fit, therefore she must want to go out with them.

Confidence and knowledge have more of an impact. Attractiveness and fitness never hurt anyone

I do not see it as a negative.  I can see being unhealthy as a negative.  "Will my agent live long enough to sell my house?"

I can see the angle you brought up in the comments about a wife not liking her husband working with an attractive agent (likely due to her own insecurities).

I've known many who get by on their looks alone.  Sadly, dated one in my college days.  Would not want one as my Realtor, that's for sure!

ALL other things equal. it helps.

It has been my experience that clients respond better to attractive, fit and nicely dressed people. It just seems to have a more positive effect on people

For some people I kow it does matter...but beauty does not transfer intelligence.

I think it has to be a total package on the inside and out side. Clean, neat, a good communicater, ability to listen, no matter the shape, tall, short, skinny, curves, most important is... dresses appropriate, smells good and has the experience to help the client. 

Pretty and fit makes one more approachable.

One who relies on pretty and fit will prove less capable.

The ugly and morbid, who have been in business for ten years, have a plethora of skills and tools to which the pretty people have no access

Got a pretty and fit on the other side of a transaction right now. Poor thing can't figure out how to set up electronic signing. 

I think it does...regardless of business...because you feel more confident and often have more energy.

I like to think people hire me for my abilities to negotiate and my knowledge of the industry rather than my physical appearance 

Depends on the market. Miami is full of beautiful fit people and the clients want to work with those that fit in. I could go on and on but I will leave it at that

 Good Tuesday morning Vashon. I cannot envision being attractive and fit as being a negative virtue.

Attractive woman who has poise attracts men more, assuming they are also successful. 

Women clients prefer a knowledgeable male agent, professional and not obnoxious or pushy. 

Clients prefer similar age realtor so they can relate better. That is my opinion.
