Some people edit their original post. Other people create a new post but have new dates etc., and they insert a link in the old post to the new post.
Good morning Jeanna. I would think coping and pasting some of the information would make some sense, but would add something new, just to change it up a little.
Good Tuesday morning Jenna. I often go back into some of my old posts, repurpose them and then repost them. It's my content so why not?
I would copy/paste/update to a new post and likely delete the old one.
It's a good idea to update blogs that need it. It is simple to copy and paste like Karen Fiddler, Broker/Owner does.
I have copy and pasted old posts and updated them but sometimes being able to reblog and add additional information would be much easier.
I don't know why this feature is not available. Though it is quite easy to copy the content and paste it into a new blog entry, make your edits and post it again.

In addition to Alexandra's helpful suggestions, I also encourage you post an interesting photo or two or graphs to illustrate your point making sure you enclose recent news or data. Many of the re-blogs appeared to be dated or way dated....
I would definitely update a post, if it out of date, and write a new post to do that. If we want to be noticed on Google, the bots are interested in new content, not the same content. A
I would like that feature. Of course we shouldn't get any extra points for it!
I can see going back to older blogs and reblogging with an explanation as to when it was originally posted and why I'm reposting now. It could be fun.
