We cannot afford to hve everything on hold when we are on vacation. It is not fair to our clients.
I have good people at home taking are of most of the essentials, there are a few things that must be done remotely though.

We usually bring a laptop AND we have another reliable agent cover for us.
I still answer my phone and with follow up with clients while on vacation. If one my clients wants to see a home I will ask an agent in my office to help.

My team continues to manage the business/installs, but I'm generally the only one who can do appts. I tend to be away during the slower times (or else short time periods) so most customers can wait.

I do everything I can from where ever we are. I have my own Agents that step up when needed.
Absolutely, my wife and I usally take two vacations out of the country so having someone at home is important.
