Yes it's brought me many buyers.  Some jerk hijacked our listings and was advertising them as theirs and as rentals so we've stopped using CL for now.

None, zero, zilch, zip.... so haven't paid attention to them in years. All the've ever done is "hi-jacked" my listings to pose as rentals.

I haven't ever had any luck using Craigslist for real estate. 

I even listed my boat there last fall, and all I got was scam emails. 

I have never used Craigs List, with all the bad publicity.

Not these days Captain Wayne, I hear people dealing with rentals do but if I ever put anything up I get spam in return.

Lots of success in finding renters on CL.

It's very useful for clearing out items sellers want to get rid of.  Post stuff in the FREE category and you can easily get rid of almost anything. 

Yes I have.  It is not a one and done though.  I repost in the alotted 48 hour periods to keep it fresh.  Also change pics and titles from time to time.  Mark

A lot agents use other people listing and pretend they are their listings without permission.

I have heard not very beneficial in my market, but I haven't tried using it for marketing for awhile.

Yes, years ago for rental listings before the scammers ruined it. Nothing lately.

Yes. However you need to move away from the broker sponsored listing format.

Pay EXTREMELY close attention to what is said by those who expereinced success. That is your big clue.

Good morning Captain Wayne. We use Craig's List for all the home we flip, it continues to serve us very well.

I've sold some things on Craigslist - only for cash money that doesn't look counterfeit!

I used it almost exclusively to find tenants when I was a property manager. It is quite beneficial, also, for selling small things.  

We use it a lot to hire people in our office. That's how I found out about this job :)

I just sold a tv on Craigslist.

Only when doing open houses.  I havent used it for listing properties yet.  I am not sure how successful it was.  Most people that I asked didnt see it.

No, I personally have not.  Most of the listings that I have seen were already sold or non-existant, ie: the same photos for different addresses.  It is hard to tell what is real or (mostly) not.  I try and steer clients away and onto my personal website.

A few years ago when they allowed links it worked pretty well, since then I have not used it as the results just dropped to none very fast.

For selling furniture - absolutely.  Never used it for real estate...
