I don't... I type faster than I speak. Besides I type and spell more accurately than these systems and it saves me time from having to go back and proof.

No, I don't find those save time. I type really fast and the voice to text programs make too many mistakes, so fixing them takes more time.

I use for texting only - especially in the car. At home, I can write much quicker if I'm creating blog posts or emails.

As these voice programs seem not to understand my language I just keep pecking away.

I use speech-to-text to TEXT-message every day. I hate texting so it makes it bearable.
I have tried Dragon for e-mail & blogs and fine it cumbersome with all the misinterpreted words, so I still type while on computer.

Good morning Michael. I use speech to do most of my text, you're right, it saves time.

I tried it many years ago and I typed faster than the program. But actually I may look into again for quick notes in the car.

No, it's bad enough, that I have to correct my phone when it makes up words that I don't say.

I liked windows 7 v2t program but windows 8 destroyed it and I can't get windows 10 to work...

I have not, I am a pretty darn fast typer. Maybe it is time to give speech to voice another try, it has been a long time I am sure they made huge leaps.

I do use it on my phone - I hate typing with my thumbs. However, on the laptop or with any keyboard device, I type - I'm very quick and can definitely end up with an accurate document faster.

My phone does speech to text which is what I am answering this question with

I use speech to text if I am writing a long text. Otherwise, like many others, I type quickly and can spell better than my speech interpreter. I have discovered with the speech to text, it is necessary to speak slowly and succinctly or she comes up with some crazy combination of words!

Yes and I like it for when I am driving too although I think my new vehicle doesn't allow texting while driving.
3,744,445
No. I don't think the really save time, because you have to go back and edit out all of the (sometimes embarrassing) typos.
3,988,013
No as it picks up my words incorrectly. I guess I have too much Southern in me.

Michael,
I have not used it for blogging yet. I use it when I read books. I read (to text) the notes I want to take. Great!

I use the voice to text while driving, but not for blogging or writing emails.

If I didn't mumble I would but I don't because my experience with Siri tells me nobody can understand me

I use voice text as well as old fashion text. Depends on who and what I'm wanting to send and to whom.

Michael Thornton I have Dragon Naturally Speaking, but haven't used it for blogging. I have used it for other things.

I do not as it it always sem to miss a work or 2 and i end up typing to fix it anyway

I do not use here on AR. I can type very fast so I don't think it would work well for me. I do use It on my phone sometimes to answer text msgs but found that the responses usually end up making for a good laugh and I must check carefully before hitting send

Guilty, I do not! That said, I should start with my pitiful typing skills!
