Always! Without family priorities in place, what are we working for? An early grave or no one to celebrate with?

Yes , I have learned to manage my time well. Reading The Miracle Morning was a blessing because I learned to rise early to get more out of my day. Because of this practice, I'm able to fit everyone in and never run into an issue of not having the time to spend with the people I love and even more so now for the holidays.
Absolutely. We went to a lovely holiday party on Sunday afternoon.
Yes, we all need to recharge our batteries !
YES. We just finished a hosting a party for friends and clients at our home and have festivities and guests planned through the New Year. Life is short and celebrations are important to us.
Went to our office Holiday party Friday afternoon, and have a few clients I need to meet up with in the next couple of weeks. We have to make time.
Yes, it is a balencing act at times, but I do
Paul the Holidays are always special to me. There seems to be a change in attitude even in the work arena. So yes I truly enjoy the Holidays and all the warmth that comes with it. I need not go anywhere more special than where I live. Mark
Absolutely, I've set aside a good 15 minutes for festivities this season!
absolutely..... and I sure you do, also, Paul.... you have children and grandchildren....
I certainly try.
Love New York City at this time of year and all the local seasonal events. Hope to attend at least some.
Yes, I do. I have family and grandchildren I like to spend time with. Plus, a few days are necessary to do some shopping. The time off around Christmas is needed to refresh.
I would love to, but if a client calls, their needs take the front seat.
I am learning that you have to make the time or you lose the opportunity!
Yes! Family is coming in on the 23rd.
Good morning Paul. Yes, I went to three parties this week and I will do two this week
Good morning Paul. You are right about being busy, not sure why, but Dec is usually that way. Am going to take a couple of long weekends.
Went swimming today with Elizabeth Weintraub Sacramento Real Estate Agent, Top 1% of Lyon Agents at Honaunau Bay on the Big Island of Hawaii today. Some wild dolphins stopped by in the bay and did some great leaps right next to us. We took the day off after finding here a house yesterday!
Good morning Paul,
Yes I do, would not miss enjoying the holidays, I am human you know:)
Paul - Absolutely. My wife and kids make sure that I enjoy the holidays, and I thank them for that.
Yes, Christmas day there are no phones or computers, just family and food. New Years Eve and New Years Day are also no-work days for me.
Paul S. Henderson, Realtor, Broker, Tacoma Washington I did take a short break in first week of December and planning one more during Christmas!
Yes, we are busy - and need to take break!
It depends on the holiday, I dont enjoy the commercial aspect of any of them but I do enjoy and celebrate the reason behind all of the holidays.
Enjoying is the best thing you can do to be successful...all work and no play just does not work. A
Yes, most definitely...it is important to keep things in balance.
I took time this weekend to spend time with friends and talk about our plans for Christmas. Does that count?
I do try to slow things down every year, but it never works for me, and the season speeds by.
I enjoy being with my loved once every evening, that is enough to make me still hustle and work hard everyday even during the holidays.
Taking time to enjoy family, friends and Holidays is an important part of business. everyone needs alittle personal time and it recharges the batteries.
Holidays are often when people have time off to go look. I try to carve out some time but it can be difficult.
Like Hella Mitschke Rothwell says, we went snorkeling at Honaunau Bay yesterday, and you just can't take a computer into the water with you.
Actually, I take off the whole month of December and part of January every year. I still check in and handle stuff that pops up, but I generally do not take any listings during this time period, and I am often in Hawaii in December. Although we are going to Cuba for two weeks over Christmas, and there will be very little internet offered there but what the hey! Toga, toga, toga.
I take time to enjoy every day. Of course, with the holidays I'm enjoying a lot more food than normal.
Yes, several days off scheduled and already enjoyed.
Paul S. Henderson, Realtor, Broker, Tacoma Washington Absolutely!! This is the time of year when family has to come first.
Boxing Day (Day after Christmas)
New Years Eve
New Years Day
plus those weekends,
This could be my busiest December ever. WIth the weather like spring or an early summer day, business has not slowed. I did take Saturday night and Sunday afternoon off to enjoy some Christmas spirit
I sure do.
Paul, my wife and I shut down our business the last 10 days of the year and head to Florida. We have earned the right to do this and the idea of working like crazy til the 31st is not our idea of having a life.
I always take time to spend with family and friends throughout the year.
