This is why I vote for the two days of Christmas.
New Fairfield, CT
Lisa Von Domek
That's why I have to sing the song. I can't afford to live it.
I'm sure I can find 12 drummers for half that!
That is why we sing about it instead of actually buying it.
I wondered when I would learn this valuable information this season. Thanks.
I wonder how much the five golden rings would cost? There are so many sizes and levels of quality!
the cost of Christmas is not affordable!!!
I think I need to take up drumming.
Conrad....... Now that tune is embedded in the brain for the day.
I think I'll stick to the song - it's free on Pandora!
Tony and Suzanne Marri...
Well, at $123,000 I was close! Think I got the info from a trivia question!
Good morning Conrad. Wow, I would not have believed the number was that high. I would recommend celebrating less days.
Conrad Allen that IS expensive....$2,854.50/hour - I'll work for just 100 hours in 12 days and done for the whole year...
I think you need to hire some non union drummers Conrad. Try the local high school, they may do it for a pizza.
Go figure, those drummers are member of the ASCAP the musician's union. I think in my next life I will study the drums, hopefully I will have some talent ot go with...
That is crazy and shows the cost of living is out of control.
And here I thought you would be pricing out the dancing ladis and 5 gold rings....
Okay, Conrad Allen so I guess I can only have 2 Drummers Drumming this year
Quite a nice bit of money.
I knew it would be over 100K
Moral of the story, I should have learned to play the drums. D'oh!
I guess your budget will require a reduction in the number of drummers.
If you go to Home Depot these guys will do it for $12/hr. You can round up as many drummers as needed.
I don't think even Buddy Rich ever made $2854.50 per hour/
Is the $2,854.50 the cost per hour for 12 drummers or 1 drummer? If it was per drummer, then $237.875 per hour is quite a bit. It is likely possible to reduce the cost by using less expensive drummers.
I will volunteer to take the job as a drummer today.
A drummer gets $237.83 per hour?!? LOL
Conrad - I saw this the other day, and what I can't figure out is why some things, like the lords a leaping got a raise, while the ladies dancing did not.
Conrad.... I am GOB-SMACKED! (LOL!)
Interesting bit of information. Who needs all that stuff, anyway?
That is interesting, Conrad. I was trying how to figure out how they would account for the people, but I guess renting by the hour makes sense.
Conrad Allen I thought it was a pretty large number.
