Yes, yes. I like to know generally where it is located without having to get my GPS out or mapping tool. Then when it is time to show I want to know how to arrange my showings by location.

Absolutely. On my listings, I always double-check and drive the route to make sure it's the most efficient and/or scenic. When I'm working with buyers, I always review the map for nearby points of interest, and generally use my GPS to get there.

Yes.  I see all the time "use GPS" and that is ust not helpful.  Although I will use my GPS to get there, written directions gives me an idea of where the property is.  No putting in directions is a shortcut and seems lazy.

I think you should, especially for remote listings, but most put dumb directions in.  Sometimes GPSs don't always get you where you need to go.

It's a requirement to have cross streets and basic directions in our MLS.  A holdover from the dark days before every phone had a GPS.

It's a required field in our MLS -- you can find every different quality of remarks ranging from very specific and excellent directions to "Google It".   

Showing that I provide quality information to other agents as well as the public is never a bad idea.

Definitely should be there and even more importantly when it's confusing. GPS does not always hit it accurately. Telling up to use Google Maps or Mapquest is just lazy. Don'y you want to make the home as easy to show as possible?

Yes. GPS isn't always acurate, some aren't updated, some don't contain new roads, some send people to wrong area, some areas don't have service, many agents do not have or use GPS.

We enter a map grid and users can also look at the Bing maps integrated with the MLS.  Alternatively, they can go to their favourite online or offline mapping tool to get or manually determine directions.

directions may be overkill, but making sure the address is correct and that it shows up in the correct place on the map is an essential that many miss on.
