Don't start any new charge cards or large purchases until after the closing is done;
Don't get attached to a house or condo until there is a ratified contract.
WOW...that varies with me each day and from client to client. In the past I have even advised a couple of clients not to buy a house. One sent me a thank you note. He say it wasn't right for him.
You will never find another Realtor that will serve your best interest as well as me.
The advice depends upon the particular client.
If the deal makes sense, do the deal and if it does not make sense, don't.
When it comes to trying to get the best rate, I advise people they'll drive themself crazy playing that game. Focus on a payment that you can comfortably afford, and if you have that, lock a rate so you can sleep at night.
It's not a done deal until it's a done deal.
