LOL Sandy Padula and Norm Padula, JD, GRI   That was what I was thinking, pretty much.  My interest in the Oscars is limited to the superficial - what people are wearing and what they look like. We haven't been the movies in years and are pretty repelled by most celebrities, although I do think Chris Rock is hilarious, no matter his target.  

We will probably watch some of the show but have no special event planned or menu. I am fine if I don't see it and just catch up on the news afterwards.

Nope, but if I did... Oscar Meyer would be on the menu... and really anything with the word oscar in it since I'm imaginative like that.  And it would probably be a pot-luck.

Absolutely not.  I have tried on several occassions to watch movies that had one a Best Picture oscar and I have generally hated all of them.  I think of the oscars as just another "look at me, I'm a star" piece of garbage TV and all of those shallow vapid people falling all over themselves trying to get up close.

I guess living in Los Angeles I grew tired of streets being blocked off for movie shoots and the common people being shoved aside and detoured for some overpaid actor.
