I can do it within an afternoon.  But, if the seller wants me to do a really professional job, my process takes a week.  This includes pre-listing announcements and marketing as well.

It only takes about 20 minutes to get it posted on the MSL, but I like to have the professional photos taken before I put a house on the market. And the big post sign takes a couple of days here. 

Depends on the condition of the home and the schedule of my photographer.  I always ask "Do you want it done fast or do you want it done right?"

I can move as fast as the seller wants me to post the home for sale.  I have a great team that can assist should I have the need.

Hella M. Rothwell, Broker/Realtor® if they are okay with not-so-nice marketing and pictures, it can be done in a day! However, let me insist - Marketing is the key - and need some time to do everything. Usually, plan for Tuesday/Wednesday listing for weekend 'rush'!

2 -3 hours if needed, and depending on the property. But for photos, great marketing, a thorough and accurate MLS listing, more time is important. I have never had this become an issue, especially when sellers understand the value of doing it right

As fast as the Seller can get it Ready for Showtime, following which come the professional photographs.  We have a process.  We've closed every listing we've taken since June 2011 using it.  We don't let Sellers "modify" it.  Period!

I can have a stripped down veesion in 15 min.   But I prefer having it complete

It really depends Hella.  I could get it on the MLS and have the marketing "started" in a couple of hours.  I am not sure that is the right approach for the "weekend traffic" given that there is another weekend in 5 days. 

I am not surprised that you pulled a rabbit out of the hat and got-er-done!

I can't do the sign right away (we have a special service to do that) but I can run over, take pictures, edit and upload them, write the marketing, and get it in MLS in a few hours. However, I'd prefer to have more time to do a better job. 

I can click a button and go live with an MLS listing, and we have timed me in the past and I can get a sign hammered into the ground in less than 3 minutes if the ground isn't too hard. LOL! But the operative term in the Q is 'marketing started' because marketing takes more time than that . . . and that always presupposes that the data sheet is completed and the property is ready for photographs . . . mailings, blogging, video and individual websites take more time than that. Still, if the seller wants it up and running fast, I think most of us could make that happen, technology being what it is.

     When I have good photos, legal description, room measurements, and signed paperwork I can post it in a couple of hours.

      From Friday afternoon to Friday night is impressive!

With todays technology most could get it done before leaving the meeting.

Our ffice policy is"  No Live MLS listing without professional photos."

 I may get my hands on a sign, but the personal sign with property website wouldn't be complete.   

On the other hand if the property was ready to show and the homeowner wanted to get it done NOW, I'm sure it would happen, MLS and marketing with signage. 

It depends on if the sellers house was already photographed. Putting info in the mls can be done in one hour or less. Syndication could take 2-3 days. probably mls is only thing that will generate weekend interest if buyers are shopping in that area and price range.

We can list it as soon as I get back to my computer, and we have our own signs so Larry can install those immediately. Professional photos will take longer, but we can take our own so we can list it right away.

Nice job!  There are two of us and we have additional backing, so it can happen rather quickly.  

Pretty much can do it instantly for the MLS but marketing besides internet marketing...somebody needs to get a grip-that takes time.

Good for you, Hella! Impressive! I never promise less that 24 hours, but do what I can to accommodate. 

Would have it done quickly as well; have a sign in the back of the truck as you never know.

It would take me a few hours from start to finish to get the listing on MLS.

We can do it same day but the pictures may lag a day.  We like to make sure we have the best pictures possible and that can take a little more time to take the photos and process them for the listing.  

I know I could also get a new listing up and running within a day.  I PREFER professional photography, but can take them with my Nikon.

Sure, we can get it done in a couple of hours if necessary.

That is fast! I like to have professional photos taken before uploading to the MLS, but will improvise and do what my client requests.

I don't like to throw a listing up with proper planning.....need professional photos taken, brochures designed and photos in the MLS when its made live..if the seller wants top dollar best to make sure it's done professionally..at least a week. If they don't care..upload in MLS in half a day and see what happens..not my style!

It can happen pretty quickly but it won't be up to my standard or something I would typically suggest -- I explain that when I meet with a prospective seller.

I can do it less professsionally almost immediately. You want top of the line marketing with professional photos, brochures, etc.... 7-10 days. As Susan Emo said -- do you want it done fast or done right? I've used this line a lot.

If I have a clear schedule and there isn't any information missing I can do it in a couple of hours. The trick is getting some good photos in that time frame.

Taking pictures takes me the longest. Our MLS is integrated with our tax records, and that helps in getting a lot of the information in there, but I do double check to make sure it is correct information. 

I can do it pretty quickly too, within a few hours.

I would explain that might hurt the listing since it would not aggregate to the other online sites, or even Realtor.com until Monday. They don't upload on weekends.

If the house is ready for photos, I can usually get it up in under an hour.  If it's not ready for photos, I can get a shell with one photo up in the same time.
