I have done some things on Animoto. You may want to ask John Meussner his company has some interesting things to offer.

There is a webinar tomorrow on AR I think sponsored by City Blast about Facebook ads. It may include learning more about their videos.

Oh, no! Not the eerie background music!
There is so much really bad video out there. When I used the kind of format you're talking about, the feedback was pretty negative. I think that once the format that Redfin uses gets the navigation bugs ironed out, it will be the way to go.
Sounds like you are asking about a photo slideshow, maybe? I met a guy at an IEEE networking event a few months ago (yes I still get my nerd on) who works at Animoto.com It sounds like what they do is similar to what you are looking for.

My webmaster does mine - they're basic but get the point across and that's what matters to me
I like the advice from Barbara Todaro.
parked and reading...
Barbara has a great tip.
John DL Arendsen - I'll share couple of services I use for this... (and can also create market reports etc using the same.)
Good question John, I am sure we will all learn something here.
I use still shots and create the videos:
1. Right in YouTube Creator, free and never have to worry about copyright slaps on your music. We add text to each image.
2. I also use iPhoto slide shows, well, now Apple just calls it Photos. But the slide shows are fun to make with this free app.
3. Realbird - as Barbara Todaro suggested. My market does not like the fast pace of animoto so we like to create our own for our baby boomers.
Parked and learning.
I've hired out for that in the past. It did not work out real well. Whatever I do now, I do myself. I use Realbird for listings ... love it.
Are you looking to do it yourself or hiring a professional?
I think it would make sense to hire a professional for this, epsecially if it's something you are going to use over and over as part of your marketing. Animoto works well for just a slideshow with music and it's easy to use
Maybe realbird or animoto.
Unless you are good with graphics and animation, consider hiring a professional.
I am not sure what you are asking for. We would use a professional to do something like that, and I would make sure that the pro knows what you are talking about. A
I am not familiar with either of the video products that those two companies produce so I can't compare to others.
