I honestly don't think of it in me as a "learned" behavior.  I'm very right brained and creative and logic sometimes escapes me.

I've always stayed out of the fricking box. That way I never had to worry about thinking outside of it. 

I didn't leatn to think outside the box, it just comes naturally to me.

Carol, That is such a nice way to honor your Aunt Dorothy on what would be here 103rd birthday.  I look forward to readingy you post.

Easy for me, I like to break things so I break boxes easily

thinking outside of the box is a unique style of thinking and, in my not so humble opinion, it's a reflection of the degree of "street smarts" one has.... it's in your DNA and/or environment....it's how you live.... and how you work follows suit!!! oh, I can go on and on....but I'll spare you.

rarely do we find many who truly think outside the box....

That's just my natural personality. When I was in the corporate world, my  staff would let out a collective groan anytime the words "I've been thinking" came out of my mouth.

Nope, I just make the box bigger.

This is going to be a tough contest for me. We tend toward the conservative and tried and true approaches.

I'm having an opposite problems: too much out box thinking. I'm getting back to basics these days, following: if it is not broken, do not fix it.

Even as a kid I had a tendency to think outside the box. 

My mom was a creative thinker and set a wonderful example to not settle for status quo and to stretch and do things different.

Between fixing computers and working on disasters, thinking outside the box gets learned, quick.

I grew up on a farm, thinking out of the box is a part of life there.

Happy Birthday to Aunt Dorothy, a very good day for a Birthday, I chose this day too.

I think it starts simply with thinking, an art we are losing.

Practice made perfect years ago.

I will not print an envelope look like Fed Ex and put a flier inside,

Boxes can be fun.  Ask any kid.  Or a puppy/kitty.

Nice way to honor your Aunt Dorothy.
