Unlike Ken Jones I've used Carbonite successfully to restore files 3 times over the years. Never had any problem. I also back up on an external HD and use thumb drives for some sets of files. Everything is security encrypted too.

My back-up is currently in Google Drive.  Lol, I got caught with a virus and had to back up quickly, before wiping the drive clean and starting over! Haven't properly got myself set up yet, as I'm not really a technology nut....

The "cloud" is my primary backup.  I do CD/DVD backups at the end of the year and remove the stuff from the cloud then.

It is all really the same. I use Verizon cloud until it is full because of my phone, I pay for extra storage on Goggle but only the small package and I have a network drive full of hard drives on my home network so I have it the old fashioned way. Oh yes I have the free version of Box too.

I put everything I can on the cloud and DRopbox and Google docs hold the majority.

I back up to a external hard drive which is programmed to back up everynight.  Works well for me.

Lots of places, most are on my harddrive and an external harddrive, some are also stored in the cloud and in my emails.

any file that I want to save goes on a memory stick.... I don't save very much..... 

those for whom I market do all the work and they use iCloud....all of them do...

Dropbox and our Apple Time Capsule. 

Multiple places - we store them on our personal cloud accissible from anywhere (I don't trust any 3rd party cloud site), we also "burn" pertinent documents into DvD's for off site storage

External drive & it's driving me nuts. I don't like how the whole thing works. I was using Carbonite but stopped.

I really don't like how all these systems bog down your entire system. Very frustrating.
