Hi Sam... I suppose for iPhone fans this is a big deal. I'm a Samsung Galaxy girl myself, so haven't paid much attention. Then again, I'm not much into gadgets and gimmicks.

The word gimmick says it all...

My iPhone 4S gave up 2 weeks ago and I got and am happy with my new 6S+

One more reason I won't buy apple products.  No love for long standing industry standards and an excuse to make a buck on licensing a proprietary standard.

Always best to wait a year or two on things like this, the bugs get worked out and the prices come down; leaving those people who stood in line to overspend looking rather foolish.

The real problem is Apple removing the audio port. Now traditional headphones or an AUX cable cannot be plugged in.
These expensive (and notoriously uncomfortable) headphones are just a boost to the sales of companies that make actually good Bluetooth headphones at far lower prices.

I think I will stick with my 5s and 6+. No reason to switch. They are appealing to the vanity of the weak-minded.

This has no impact on me but certainly made some tech types quite giddy.

My iPhone 5 still serves me well. When it goes I will upgrade!

I am a Samsung Galaxy devotee, and never wear earpieces or headphones, so this would be wasted on me.

I love by iPhone 6S+ and will probably get the new one in a year or so.

I'm still learning new things about my Iphone 6!

I already have bluetooth headphones and have for ages.  Worth every single penny.  love love love them

Shareholders will be happy as will those who must have the latest iPhone and accessories.

My iPhone 6 is fine for a while now.

I just got a Samsung Galaxy 7 Edge and love it.

We are gettting to gimicky for my tastes

I won't be upgrading yet...no reason to. My 6+ suits me just fine and has all the bells and whistles that I need. 

I now skip a generation. I have a 6s so I will wait for the next one.

I was looking forward to teh 7, but starting at $649 and then requiring accessories, cover, etc has me thinking twice

I have a 6 and I'm ready for 7.... soon....

Not for me, thanks!  I will keep my Samsung Galaxy with Android.

Don't need a new phone yet and will wait until my contract is up in another year to consider any upgrade. I do like the newest gadgets.

I saw the new phone has a wide angle camera lens.  I won't be running out to buy one just yet.

I love my iPhone 6S and have no reason to make a change!

I did hear the ear buds were pretty expensive for this new phone.

I heard there are bugs in it yet.

It does come with a conventional earpiece that plugs into the charging port.
