The home page looks nicer and more up to date.

UI has been very low.  it's VERY time consuming to navigate/buggy.  scroll down not working properly, I need to click on page to use page down/arrow buttons, page down skips info.  Very slow.

I've had to cut back comments, etc and it seems many other have as well.

I hope they fix all these bugs, too.  A regular visitor will not take the time to figure out how to scroll down.

I don't like how commenting looks now with your picture above your comment.

I don't like the double scroll bar on the right - it's confusing.

I think the front page looks tacky -  sorry but that's how I feel.

Like Debbie Gartner I have had several issues with the new site.

• Blog navigation no longer works without clicking on the blog first.
• Page load speed has decreased, especially noticable for those of us who load up the day's questions or blogs in new tabs, 20 at a time.  I would have cut back, except I need those 500k points.
• The top navigation is cleaner and the notifications now shows a count instead of 5+, that is nice.
• I'm not a fan of the footer navigation.  I almost never go to the bottom of a page, so I do not plan on ever using those links.
• For me, I find the home page to be visually unpleasant.  So much to the point where my home page is now the notifications tab and not the main home page.  I do not care for the multi colors or the giant images.  That's just my personal preference for design, I'm in the minority on that I believe.
• On the notifications and Q&A page, the top item is indented from the rest of the items.  The name starts below the image, where on the rest it starts to the right of the image.  This format is consistent if you delete the top one and #2 becomes #1.

I like the overall look, but not the home page with all the photos and colors. I find it distracting rather than appealing. I don't really get the point of the double scroll bar on the right and don't find it helpful. There are still some bugs to work on.

Maybe I'm the only one but I find the headlines hard to read, too bold for the type and the letters even are occasionally touching slightly. Too many colors on the home page and too much wasted space. But that's just me, I prefer a cleaner look that gives me a good overview. 

The home page is overkilll.  The concept was good yet it seems to have missed the mark.  Way too much.  There are issues that need to be worked out. Debbie Gartner and others have comments that I agree with as well. 

Robert Vegas Bob Swetz The rainbow of colors on the home page is distracting and it is slow connecting with the site.

The home page is poorly designed and the pictures and headings are too large.   It is slow and buggy especially on mobile devices.  It is more difficult for me to comment  now.  If AR is trying to reach millennials, good luck with that.  Slow, buggy, and not mobile friendly isn't going to be a hit.

I don't know if they did any focus groups or used professionals, but it sure doesn't seem like it.

I am never averse to change but this "update" fell flat. The home page in my opinion is a mess.

I really liked it before the bugs appeared. It is improving daily!

I think there are good and bad aspects. I like the overall layout now. It looks more clean and modern. I don't like that when I mouse over a section I do not get the drop down options as I used to. I have not checked out the mobile version, cannot comment there.

That said, as bugs get worked out I think this is realistically a step in the right direction.

Very poor performance with an iPad!

The scroll and display issues are significant.  I can't post a blog due to these issues.  

When I reviewed my draft blogs, the page cut off and froze.  After refreshing the page a few times, I could scroll down, but the blog was cut off and never displayed the usual choices at the bottom of the page.  I just scrolled into endless white space.

On Q & A, I usually have to refresh a few times before I can scroll down.

I have not explored too much. The site is more time consuming And takes longer to load. I feel there must be a better way for me to maneuver.  Still getting use to it.  Some of the issues I've read I have not experienced, probably because I'm not on here as much.

I'm just doing the basic stuff on AR now. I haven't had time to explore around. 

I like it.  A couple of things are just having to get used to the changes.

The scheduler for blogs and reblogs appears to fail every time they have an 'upgrade'. Very frustrating for those of us who schedule far in advance.

I'm not a fan of the changes, but I'm adjusting.  The bugs, such as notifications and the scheduler are annoying but I suspect they will figure them out eventually.

It is working for me just fine. There are so glitches, but that always happens with web changes, and I am sure they are working on it...Patience is a virtue. A

The more I use it, the easier it becomes. So far, so good! Need to explore more!

It kind of cracks me up to see to see people complaining about something that is free.

I like it, but I'm not here often. I'm sure, more changes are coming soon.

I have zero complaints - I did have an issue updating my signature, which happened to need to be done right when the system changed.  That's been corrected now.  Other than that, I love the look/feel of the new platform and haven't had any real issues personally with it.

Is it really different?  Seems to work fine, just moved things around a bit.

I was fine with it.... but now I am not getting any AR emails re comments on my posts.... what gives??

I'm still learning my way around (slow learner here...) so the jury is still out.

It is fine, I am already getting used to it. 

 In general, I like it.

  There are some bugs, they will get worked out.

I do like it and am geting used to the links at the bottom of the page. I will say that I didn't have a problem with the old site but understand more changes are coming that will be improvements.

Debbie..great answer..I'm sure they are working on item's....it is a great new look..but has bugs to be worked out.

Well, it had a rocky start.  I'm getting used to it, and the featured blogroll is pretty cool.  But I liked the navigation drop downs better on the old platforms - I spent less time scrolling all the way to the bottom of the screen.  

I will reserve my opinion because I haven't been here much.  

I have heard both positive & negative comments here & elsewhere from frequest users & the infrequent members.  

Bottom line ~ we will adapt or . . .  

I like the look.... the rest of the options are the same....

I do like it and even if I did not it would take a jack pot win to buy it and change it!

I'm not wild about the color coding and featured pictures.  I do like the new layout inside, but there are still many bugs to work out.

Ease of use is the standard of which I apply. It can still use a tweak or two

It really does not bother us.

Bugs are still being fixed; just two days ago I could not post any comments; just didn't work. We should judge when it's all worked out.

Confusing more than simple. Inefficent due to bugs. In the dark if any of the users were asked about what needed to be changed or improved OR if these new and improved changes were done without our input. 

I do like the looks... yes, I am being so superficial, I guess!
