Justin: Like you, I try to have a presence on as many sites as I can, especially if they offer a free profile page that allows linking back to my WP site. Not a Z fan but if consumers are there I definitely want some type of exposure.

Zillow is the scourge of our industry.

For the most part they take our listings get people to look at their site and get interested in your listing and then have them sign up on their site. Then...they selll YOUR client back to you if you are dumb enough to do that.

I like the fact with Zillow that you are able to buy market share ratios of various zip codes. I find it effective and it's free to have a profile, many lot cost packages to choose from.

With all the real estate page options you can easily spend a fortune. I use my reports and determin what sites are generating the most customer interaction and focus on those pages.

With that being said Zillow out performs Realtor.com in my local market so I try to have a good profile....BUT they do not limit the agents that are in rotation so I do not invest in my marketing dollars there.
