No..I'm leaving it to the professionals! I do what I do best..list and sell and paying those who do what they do best. My grandson has one and is really getting ramped up to do some videos..I'll be happy to pay him.
I am definitely thinking about it ...
I've been watching my neighbor fly his drone. It looks like fun. At night it's lighted up and looks like a small alien spacecraft. I would love to get one and buzz my broker's home with it.
I don't plan on it but maybe my photographer is.....I'll have to ask him.
Eric has one and we use it for new subdivisions.... aerial photography is eye catching and "the eye buys".... it provides an overhead view of the subdivision.... buyers love it....the builders love it....
No, Silvia Dukes PA, Broker Associate, CRS, CIPS, SRES, that's another thing I will always hire out! I'd rather hire someone than spend the time perfecting its use! If it's anything like a camera, I'll never perfect using one! LOL
Like all tech, buy today and its outdated tomorrow. Im waiting for the next phase of drones to come out with more bells and whistles.
Sylvia, I am not planning to get a drone.
No. We are in a no drone area.
Silvia Dukes PA, Broke...
Spring Hill, FL
Debe Maxwell, CRS
No I don't think I would get my money's worth but will instead use a photographer who uses one (or drone-ographer?)
I think this is something I will hire out, like pro photography.
Not quite ready yet, but first I have to make sure that it will yield a positive return for us and for those who hire us to compose marketing photos.
Silvia Dukes PA, Broker Associate, CRS, CIPS, SRES - well, I just ordered DJI Phantom 3....
I was all ready to buy one last year, but then the govt got involved and it did not seem worth the hasssle.
no - are you?
They're banned in DC.
I have a cheep one that I used once, but the new ones are more sofisticated and easier to fly, so I am considering it, after I pay $150. and take a written test to get a license and pay more money to register the drone. Then there is the insurance we would need for a business to fly them. It all takes some thought, time, money and more money.
In mid west I think it is tax free everyone walk on an airplane with one. Dubai is what I was thinking.
As for me, no,
Not yet. If I need drone photography I will hire an expert at it. Later on I may get one to try my hand at it.
I have had professionals use drones as part of my marketing but purchasing one is not in my 2017 plans.
Silvia Dukes PA, Broker Associate, CRS, CIPS, SRES No plans right now.
Our clients get them done professionally. They are great for large properties, and grand estates. When it comes to smaller properties you run the risk of the house next door's yard looking like hell. A
I got one, but havent yet got the full hang of it due to restrictions where i can fly it
No do not plan to purchase one.
However, should one materialize I would put it to use immediately. I have the GoPro ready to fly.
Planning to get the FAA license and the drone.
No. I don't even own a camera. Besides there are all sorts of other licensing, insurance and regulatory issues related to drones that I don't want to get involved with.
I bought mine at the NAR Convention in Orlando in November 2016 after paying others to take my photos before. The problem I had with others is they didn't know what I wanted to capture and without seeing the image from above, how could I?
I'd love to, but I'm already shelling out money on other things that the government is regulating.
No plans to purchase one.
Mine would crash first time out....Its not for me
I just am not into them, I will hire a pro to take pictures.
I had one that I crashed, so I may be getting a new one soon.
Not ready yet. Wil use professional services when necessary!
I don't mind wasting money; however to me that would be a waste.
Nah not this year - other things are my priority this year for my "buck"
No, if I need it I will hire a professional.
My husband is eying them... as a nice toy, but he's a pilot, so would want to get a super high end one, which means it's not happening.
It's on my radar - and I do have a private pilot's license!
