Landing pages do not inherently have SEO. In fact, they usually don't because they are designed to drive a call to action, not drive traffic. You need to work on the traffic separately (e.g. blogging or CPC, etc to drive people to the landing page). Then, I'd recommend you have a properly designed landing page. I would probably get something from Thrive pages as it's reasonably priced and one time cost.
Ideally, you'd pay a professional to design the page. That will probably give you the best ROI. Alternatively, if you design yourself (or initially design) do some research. In particular, Neil Patel has a great guide on landing pages. Go to Quicksprout.com and I believe the guide is on right hand side, lower down. if not, google it.

You should have a few landing pages for sellers. A few for buyers.
Here is an example of one for first time buyers: Click for page example
This is a page that offers content in return for lead info. If the offer is compelling it will be effective at generating leads. In this example, its a 2017 First Time Buyer guide with links to loan programs for first time buyers. That's an offer that works to generate leads and build your brand.
This page is from the hosting and real estate landing pages service at postAprop. It only takes one click to get the page live with the content in place. Comes with an online editor to customize so you can drop your photo, contact info, location inside the content.
postAprop.com - Unlimited real estate landing pages WITH BUILT IN EMAIL MARKETING. With current promo its $24.99/month. Includes full hosting account. You can host your agent site, blog, and single property sites under one account.
Nothing better. Saves both time and money.
Now about SEO....
This can be an expensive (or very time consuming) mission. You can build links to your landing page and get them ranked. But it takes time. Then linking the independent landing page to your site can provide SEO benefits to your main site.
I would suggest creating a few landing pages and doing this:
1. Integrate the pages with your main site - Links and graphics that drive traffic to the landing page to capture leads.
2. Occasionlly post the landing pages on social media.
3. Make a few short videos with highlights of that offered on the landing pages. Post on youtube with links to landing page in description. Post video URL on social media and on any blog posts.
4. Add the landing pages to any other marketing you're doing. Direct mail, print, anything local, online and digital ads, etc. Anything you are doing make a change and drive the traffic to your landing pages instead of the main website. This will help to generate more leads.
Hope this helps.

You need to coordinate it with your call to action pages, your advertising that draws people to it. So do you have your campaign designed first? Your marketing plan for this page? If not, it may be better to hire a pro for the first one, learn from it and then you can replicate from there on your own if you so choose.

We would advise paying a professional who knows real estate. An agent we knew has his girlfriend do his website because she had a web development company that did websites for famous people. The whole thing was a mess as she had no idea of the fine points in real estate. A

Debbie Gartner is spot on as far as your landing pages don't have SEO value.
I've recently started using ListingsToLeads for my landing pages and they are amazing!!! You should check out ListingsToLeads. If you'd like my referral link, message me. I'm hooked on it and you can generate unlimited landing pages. Plus, it's a lot more than just landing pages.
I recently did a blog post about ListingsToLeads if you'd like to see examples of their landing pages read my blog post about ListingsToLeads.

Nathan, the light is starting to come on.
Okay so if you create your own landing page, like Thomas said hire a pro to do the layout and design not a bad idea. Any tips on design work, recommendation for designer or programs.

Steven Nickens - you can surely use some of the services for the landing pages - however, you need to drive the traffic to those pages. Some call-to-action in your blog posts should send the readers there.
Good Luck.

What I would do is investigate investigate and then look into it more lol...there are tons of options. If decide you want to create your own rather than hire someone to create them for you AVOID the do-it-yourself services that want you to pay every month or annually for what amounts to DIY there are plenty of options

I create the landing pages to be on my site - so, it's not something that runs people off. A lot of people click right off of a landing page so, I associate them with my website so they can move off of the 'sign-up' sheet if they want to.

Your landing pages can get great SEO especially if you develop a brand that is tied to keywords that combined together will rank.
Even though most people don't worry about SEO for landing pages, if they are short CTA form goal orientated, you can do it.
But of course, faster results will come from FB ads, and driving off line traffic to your landing page.
Neil Patel is awesome but beware of something that you will see from all the gurus:
You are NOT where they are at.
Once they get to the level of success they are at, they don't have to do the things they did when they first started.
Never compare what they can do to what you can do.
ALso, remember the space you are in, you are no way going to get hundreds of thousands of subscribers, deals, etc from one real esate specific town, etc. We are in real estate. Totally different kind of a niche than selling SEO services. :) Keep that in mind as you devour his stuff. I read it all, but take it with a grain of salt.
For very fast landing pages, use ListingToLeads, I think they are only like $30 per month. If you make your own use the Thrive membership to do so. Awesome tools in it. I am an affiliate, here is my link to thrive: http://KaterinaGasset.com/BestThemeEver.

I am puzzled by:
that gets SEO benefits
A website provider offering landing pages that are not indexed should be FIRED!
The decision you MUST make is whether this is a landing page (give me your contact information) or a sales page, (visitor has a real problem and I have a real solution).
If you are a marketer, you should have no difficulty creating the text.
Landing pages are EASY to create and should not require hiring.
Effective sales pages are beyond the grasp of the staff supporting templated websites. It could be worth the investment to create a evergreen sales page.
Ask candidates what is the hierarchy of essentials is for a high converting landing/sales page? It would be interesting to post your results in a blog or new question.

Buy a landing page so to speak. It's the easiest thing to accomplish. Why can't your page get SEO? Think you have to pay to get it?

You may get better results doing it yourself, but it may be better time management to delegate these things while concentrating on Real Estate.
