 The commission will be determined by the Broker or developer or builder.

In TN you must have a Time Share Salesperson License and work at one location/resort. You are not allowed to sell regular homes for sale or time shares in other areas of the state.

I've been singularly focused on selling MY timeshare for years!
If you want to make that your niche, I would imagine that the individual brokerages will drive that figure.
It is probably the worst niche on Earth. Cemetary plots would be better. LOL

20 years ago i did, now may sell for 4000-7000 and it is not worth it

You should consider the risks of time shares before worrying about the commission.

I see this is an old questions, but I figued I would weigh in given my expertise in this niche.

If you are asking about timeshare sales from the standpoint of someone who sells for a resort, there is a lot of money to be made because they are selling an overpriced product that has no true value. Once one buys a timeshare, there is no value on the resale market as evidenced by the thousands of timeshares you will find online for sale for $1 or less.

That should also answer the second question, about "reselling" timeshares. If there is no value, there is no commission to be earned based on a percentage of the sale as with traditional real estate. In fact, you don't want to get stuck with a timeshare as a listing (I wrote a blog post about that called The Worst Listing A Real Estate Agent  Could Ever Take.)

We don't have timeshares in Denver, but see many in the resort towns.  Would not focus on this sector.

Oh hell no!  I don't even like going to them for the free money to sit through one of their presentations!

We don't sell Time Shares as real estate professionals in Oregon. We do sell fractional ownerships, however.  The commission on these is set as it is with any listing contract - at the time the seller and the agent negotiate the listing.

I don't think you'll find that kind of a sales person here, Ashley.  That is a specialized segment of real estate with its own set of rules and regulations by jurisdiction.  If you're in the real estate licensing class, that is not what you are being trained for.  If you ARE interested in selling timeshares, you would need to contact a company that does that.  Think resorts.

I've never had any experience with Real Estate agents that have a specialty with timeshares.
