Yes, I use the short code so I can see what is being read when shared elsewhere. I didn't do that for a very long time though!

Not all posts are syndicated to the other social media sites and the ones that are do not get tracked. There is only so much time in the day and none of it dedicated to tracking these numbers.

I do them from my own blog, and yes, I see the numbers increase...except for twitter where those #'s a hidden.  I forget when they made that change - maybe a year or two ago.  On my blog, it doesn't matter if I share them from the post or on the network itself...the stat counter increases either way.  I don't pay attn on here.

I always use the links here Anna Banana Kruchten, CRS so I'm eager to hear if there is a differance with those who do not. I'm curious as to why there would be.

90% of the time I direct post from AR, 10% I use the short link to accompany a post on the topic of a blog I wrote that supports my position.

We publish our blog posts on every social media we can. Stats definitely increase.

I've never posted through A/R. I always go direct and my facebook business page posts immediately through to twitter and linked.

i just post a content on my site an its get ready to post on all social media ( isay all social media) automatically. i use some of he website script for this purpose that my own team developed. 

My blogs are mainly on my website.  I choose specific ones to put in my "Social Share" category and those get shared automagically on the social networks.  I limit those to one per day.

I use my short url to post to facebook and then it automatically posts to twitter. I don't post every blog post I publish though. I do not have a huge facebook or twitter following and I don't boost my posts so it gets me more views but nothing to write home about.-Kasey
