no, I'm not on instagram.... I should be on alot of different sites.... I do what I do, and it's working for us.... we work locally and only for sellers.... offline is key for me....

Yes, I am on IG. AND ALL agents should be on IG if they work with millenials or younger. For baby boomers and seniors - not so much. It all depends on your avatar and where your ideal prospects hang out. Not one of our sellers has an instagram account except for one horse trainer, but she is a lot younger than the other sellers we have. Most of our sellers are over the age of 65 and they are not on IG. They are not on Snapchat , they are not on G+, but they are on FB and they are on Pinterest.

 We are on IG & so are all of my Realtor friends/colleagues/clients. IG & Pinterest are huge platforms that all motivated Realtors should utilize for their business. Thanks for getting this convo started!

And with the numbers you posted --- I guarantee those numbers slip the minute more people start buying ad space and using the platform primarily for business.  Like every social media platform ever to exist, the minute it becomes business and ad-centric, is the minute users will look for another platform.

I tried it for a few days this summer.  My kids (in their 20's) use it and they wanted to send me something.  I tried it (not very hard) for a few days and then deleted the app.  I'm sure there's a reason people use it, but I told them I would rather just stick with text messages and Facebook than learn how to use another application.  I don't know what's better about it so I don't think I need it.

No.  It's hard to drive traffic to your website from IG, but easy on Pinterest.

I have a Twitter account but I don't use it. I really don't see or rather understand the benefit. I don't have an Instagram account. I use Facebook and sometimes LinkedIn. That's it.
