Let's define FULL SERVICE with a menu and back it follow up, follow through and exceptional service to clients. That brings referrals and repeat business.

I'm not concerned at all. If you read you'll be treated to the latest, "Disruptive company changing real estate forever!" headline. This has been going on for years. Look--folks sell their homes every 10 years. Those might as well be light years. So much can change in that time. I'm working on my 3rd generation of buyers and sellers. Keep your eyes on the prize.

Clearly they don't intend to bring the level of marketing that we provide. All of our Marketing is centered around getting you Top Dollar . If we have to start making cuts to appear equal to the discounters Limited Service , it will start to cost you Big Time in proceeds lost . It is not apples to apples !

I tell my clients you get what you pay for. You can't compare mango's to lemons. If I do a deal on a 2% listing I write my full commission in on the deal. If they want to sell it bad enough they pay it.

Not that I intend to rock the boat here but having hired full service in the UK for 1% I might argue we could easily do it for 1%. (Single side.) They survive and make a profit, so why can't we. Maybe there's just too many of us! So I'll stay out of the argument.

I have been called, emailed and generally harrassed by a couple of different companies wanting me to take these listings and these buyers, take this morning. They ask for 15% referall and want me to rebate 50% of buyer side commission to buyer and offer full service. It cant be done, not right anyway and not by me. I like to do things the right way and not cut the corners that have to be done when discounting so heavily.
