Annette Lawrence , Palm Harbor, FL 727-420-4041 Seems that you're asking if people going into that house are so stupid that they have to actually be TOLD that there are survalence systems monitoring their every move.

If, after being greeted by a monitoring system they have to be told they're being surveilled, perhaps they're not mentally competent to enter into a contract.

Then, again. What do I know?

I had one Seller who had atleast a half dozen CC Monitoring units right out in the open when you entered. When it's "in your face", like in your case & in that case, I'd take it it's assumed there are cameras.

I tell all buyers to keep mouths shut while inside a house. We talk after we leave. You just never know. At least it's open and honest from the get go and yes I would assume you are being watched and listened to even in the bathrooms!

Surveillance. I would think that they would know at that point. I guess it's a duh. We can't assume that people know stuff that we didn't tell them. Even if they saw it with her own eyes or heard it with her own ears.

I don't know why anyone would assume privacy in or on someone else's property in the first place. Just because security and surveillance systems were not available before like they are now, does not mean that there was a right to privacy in these situations.

Likely not. Agents and buyers are on private property. Just assume that 'all' showings have surveillance and security devices. That's the way I operate today. You are being watched, monitored and recorded. Act accordingly, just the way it is now.
