I'm happy someone has a plan to save real estate.

The idea behind this plan is spot on.

It is time to grow a back bone and start looking out for the agent.

I don't care how you go about it, creating VALUE is essential for countering the treachery NAR, Franchises, MLS, Broker and Zillow have conspired to commit.

BRAVO!

Some one has stood up and is willing to lead the revolution to save real estate.

From many of these comments, apparently for many real estate agents, real estate doesn't need saved.

Thomas J. Nelson, Realtor,CRS,e-Pro :  Have your attorneys create the addendum instructing their agent to delay MLS submission for a period of time. THAT' is what I call agents taking it back.  This however does not address the back door deal between franchises and the evil empire. Changing brokerages does.

Love the commercial, Thomas!  I am ever so hopeful this is a successful campaign!

We can and DO pre-market listings in our MLS in Charlotte - I've been doing it for years.

Here's a screenshot of the document, provided my my MLS, that I have each and every seller sign and submit to or MLS. I can't imagine why you wouldn't want to use it - giving your sellers an advantage...just like your website will do when it goes active!!

In Mtn View and Cupertino it is like what film shows. When you open a garage door that is empty you invite lots of traffic. When is it going to be on the market?  Do you take preemptive offers?   Marketing consists of opening a door and homes sell by themselves.

So you are expecting a direct feed from multiple MLS's as part of this new site?   Do you have agreements in place to allow that to happen?   If not are you expecting agents want to upload their listings into this system, taking up additional time?   Sorry but I just don't get what the additional appeal is unless an agent is focused on double ending all of their transactions.   We have multipe ways to get our listings in front of prospective buyers before it goes in the MLS as well as a MLS Coming Soon option.  Hope this works for you but don't see anything revolutionary at this point.

What we're doing has nothing to do with the MLS or its rules. Our first notification advantage to attract buyers to agents does not require or suggest agents delay submitting homes to MLS beyond the suggested time, usually 48 hours from listing. What we are doing is taking back control of what we own; our listings and the leads they generate. Why would you pay for someone to sell you what rightfully is yours to begin with?

We havve a status in our MLS called Active not showing that allows us to get the word out on new listings. I don't see how this is goign to give any buyer anything extra.

Another app promising to have all sorts of listing which are NOT in MLS. They may get some before the property is listed in the MLS which once again gives us the total lack of cooperation and the tower of babal which real estate promises to become. Plan to save real estate--oh please!

I do not see how that will "save" real estate.  In the end, its about how the listing agent manages the listing.  What is the intent here - for these listing agents to double-end all their listings?

Zllow hasn't gotten a feed from ListHub in three years. We have direct feed agreements with over 600 MLSs, and thousands of brokerages and franchises.

Zillow posts most listings within five minutes of them hitting the MLS. 

Bash away at Zillow and how this is going to stop us all you like, but you might want to bash with at least some semblance of fact.

Nope, No and no way. Sorry but this is coming soon if you are telling us to put the listing on the site/app within an hour of getting the paperwork signed...before MLS, before a yard sign even.  In my market, a coming soon listing is one where the paperwork has been signed but we're waiting on sign installation, professional photos and more. 

This is going to Stop Zillow? Yeah. Good luck there. Especially when the seller's market turns into a buyer's market.
