I feel as if I'm receiving three emails an hour all week from companies on this issue. I sense almost everyone who is receiving these is doing an immediate delete.

I'm getting notices from companies I forgot I did business with.  I got lots of notices, usually posted in most businesses, when I was shopping and visiting touristy places in Ireland last week.

I wonder if the "real" world cares. This is not a rant...just something I am trying to gauge. 

A lot of folks who have no business contacts in Europe getting excited about more than they need to.  And all of them sending me meaningless privacy notice updates.  A good opportunity to prune the number mailing lists that I am on.

     Conspiracy theory:

           The New World Order already has the solution to this problem that they have created. 

       I dread seeing what that solution is.

Yes, I actually met with a lawyer friend Tuesday and was given the skinny. I'm getting massive emails regarding everyone's updated privacy policy.

Well it certainly needs to be monitored

Oh, yes - the emails are flowing in. I'm happy to say mine is done - but, I didn't send out notices to everyone!

Yes.  Notices of privacy policies are coming through email non-stop.  

Interesting, have not received any.

I've never had a client not IN the states so I just blocked them. Done and done.
