No, zoning laws in that town require all businesses to have uniform color and size for signs on buildings

I had one at my old company and we used it in our Ballantyne office but, we used a local company. We never had any issues with it though.

I've never seen a Real Estate Agency use one. While it is attention getting it may not be the right fit for our agency or location.

Our zoning does not allow a sign lot from the inside. Only that a light can be shined upon it. It also limited the size of signs. I just sold my office building and am searching for something slightly smaller. Negotiations are almost wrapped up

No. Most zonings and ordinances don't allow lighted or reflective signs. Sizes are also restricted.

We do not. We have sign restrictions in our area. We're in a brand new building with Infosys and they have the sign rights at the top of the building. Of course, they employ about 2000 people and have the top three floors.

No but the location of our office wouldn't have much in the way of drive by traffic and I'm not sure how beneficial it would be or even if it would be.

No clue. There is a wooden sign. Plus two other realtors offices. Silvar Association is here.

People do not walk into a real estate office here asking for a realtor for many years.

The City of Lubbock has a code of ordinances that regulates signage. All of our local sign companies are well-versed in the ordinance and typically assist our commercial lessees in the design of a sign.  It is a fairly easy process here, and I am not aware of many issues that arise after signs are installed. It is a pretty penny for channel letters, but those look the best to me. Birds can be a problem.
