Thomas, as you will find out there are a gazillion CRM available, some free, lots at $10 mo, the average around $30 monthly and the enterprise setups at $100+ monthly. Why such a large range? FEATURES!
Warning: The true cost of a CRM is not the monthly fee but your investment in customizing, training. testing, validation, implementation and lastly integration into each members business. Once these 40 to 80 hours are spent, no one wants to do it again so they stick with the devil they know.
Define where you want your business to be in 5 years. How will you be FINDING new buyers, sellers and those way up stream? (inbound or inbox) Will you be relying on the tried and true 77 year drip campaign? Will you need a back office to support all the agents on your team? ARe you a broker?
You need a CRM that is specificity capable of getting your business where you NEED to go, where you want to go. Otherwise you end up with a business that runs according to your CRM.
The hardest decision to make right now is whether to go 'all-in' on inbound marketing. (Inbound has nothing to do with the inbox)
If so, there are only three players to consider.
If tried and true works for your business, consider RealtyJuggle for $10.
WiseAgent for $30. TopProducer for $50.
INBOUND: SugarCRM for $60. SalesForce for $100+.
Thomas Hamrick As a broker this is a real opportunity to deliver VALUE to your agents. However the agent knows NEVER to use a broker provided CRM. Should the agent leave the broker can hurt them BADLY. So give deep and serious thought regarding how can you provide success value to agents that is not simply a means to store contact information. Perhaps a CRMproviding for your agents is NOT what an agent wants or needs.
Those wants and needs are no secret whether one is a broker or agent. Providing them however takes a real commitment from the broker and will make a tangible difference in the income of agents. Unfortunately, BROKERS will pee-in-the-tea and use this as revenue augmentation instead of a recruiting and agent retention. Perhpas a CRM is not what a broker should be providing.
An agent needs to identify how the portals of access may be changing. If the agent runs a g&g centric business. a spreadsheet is all they need. However, if they are pursuing the 90 day market or the 'haven't meet' buyer or seller a new strategy is needed for doing business in 2025.

I use a custom designed one.
Before you do anything, figure out what features you need and want, then match a CRM to them.
A good way to learn about CRMs, is to watch Youtube videos about them. Most CRMs have Youtube videos showing their features, etc.
This has been asked countless times. The one to use is the one that works best for the user. Research options and decide based upon cost and functionality.
Don't worry about what other use, concern yourself with the one you will use. Do you research.
I use LionDesk, super cheap unlike many super fancy but very expensive choices.

agents in my office, when God was a child, used Top Producer.... I never used one.... didn't have time....had my own systems.... worked beautifully....
We just switched to Salesforce.
