It seems to be stuck hovering over the Bahamas. So, at this pace, it has a long time before it gets to our coast.

I will be watching until I know my friends are safe in Wilmington, NC. When it flows offshore at Hatteras I will turn off TWC content that 25+ friends have survived all along the Atlantic coast.

We have been glued to TWC and local news coverage since we evacuated a couple days ago. The waiting and watching is the worst, now looks like it will us tomorrow and maybe Wednesday as a Cat 3 but stay about 20 miles offshore. Hoping for the best.

It is a CAT5 and exactly 100 miles due east of my house which is only two mile from the beach. We have basically been on lockdown with storm shutters up and bracing for the storm since Saturday. Now it looks like we are going to miss the worst part of the storm. Very hopeful that it turns north and becomes a fish storm.
