As all levels and sectors of the economy will be invariably  affected, buying power will be severely reduced, at least for the masses. Those with deep pockets will benefit from potential foreclosures and drops in prices due to lower demand.

Increase in cleaning services.  Once the property is purchased, the new owners will be willing to pay for an extremely thorough, disinfecting cleaning before move in.

On the contrary with that low interest rate, I imagine people want to beat the crowd proactively wanting to buy. Went to an OH(1st oh)  it was so full the listing agent says TUES 5 PM is when they will review all written offers. Last home in south SJ, CA the home had unpermitted addition and it received 12 offers sold 120K over.

They have not affected prices at all right now, Move-in-ready homes in San Diego are selling with 10 to 20 offers on them as of last week. My buyers are facing 2017 conditions.

I just sold a property last Friday for a few thousand over market value as well.

I see no value in hypothesizing about negative doomsday fears when it’s likely this is going to blow over in the next several weeks or at least simmer down as the ADD of America moves us onto the next distraction.

Here in NH that is a no. Real estate values are firm with less homes for sale right now in what is normally a mad spring market. The buyers are here. High demand and low supply equalls a continuation in increasing prices.
