Today's cartoons and animated movies tend to be politically correct, are hard to watch due to an agenda or no fun...unfortunately.

The funny thing is, they are still funny today.

So true.  I look to comics or stand-up to get away from the daily grind of bad news, fake news, or whatever news you want to call it.  I have to find my escape elsewhere.

Times have changed. Treasure your fond memories.

Political correctness has managed to stiffle humor.  Maybe we can get past this pandemic and realize that PC is BS.  Appreciate what is truly important in life and not have such thin skins about every little thing.

I grew up on a farm, no time for tv.

I remember cartoons. Unfortunately, I found few were funny. But I did love Mickey, Minnie, and Donald Duck!

Saturday morning was the only time to see them too... Road Runner (Beep Beep)

The classic humor and cartoons are still funny.

I grew up in the 80s and 90s.  Most of my cartoons were MASK, Voltron, He-Man, Johhny Quest and GI Joe.  Included were also the Justice League, Looney Tunes, Pound Puppies, Danger Mouse, Mighty Mouse, Tom & Jerry and Ghostbusters.  At the tail end of my childhood, the 90s political correctness engine went into overdrive and we got schlock-fests like "Captain Planet" (even lamer of a superhero than Aquaman) and shows adding "Extreme" to the end of the name and putting in hanicapped cast members.  The only good thing to come out of the 90s was the X-Men cartoons, the Animaniacs, Pinky and The Brain.

I've tried to watch modern kids shows/cartoons on occassion and I just can't get into them.  To PC, no violence and where's Speedy Gonzalez and his cousin Slow-Poke Rodriguez... who carries a big gun?

The only good thing about kids movies these days are finding the hidden easter eggs for the adults.

I do remember.  Those were the days my friend, we thought they would never end .... 

I watched some paw patrol with my grandson the other day, didn't see political undertone one.  Just sweetness.

Family Guy makes me laugh. 

But yes, I do remember laughing at Bugs Bunny too.

Oh yes, so many years ago!

The cartoons I grew up with had morals to the story, entertaining and beautiful to behold. Spellbound was at a peak and kids were kids back then

road runner has an interesting twist now that i did not see back then.  

Yes, but it's hard to think as a kid at our age.  The kids today wil be saying the same thing forty years from now.

Oh, everything is politically motivated, slanted or inspired these days - it really is sad.
