Not here, not yet. It is illegal of course.

But I deal more in condos than houses so it's less of a possibility; my current listing is on the 3rd floor LOL.

That is what garden-hoses and dogs are for though...welcome them trespassers properly...it's fun for the whole family. Or, maybe do not use a for sale sign during the Wuhan Pandemic?

Is the seller feeling insecure? Are they feeling ENDANGERED by strangers peering through the windows? is window peering accruing only on houses that are for sale with the help of real estate professionals  or every house in the community?

The mandated actions of the real estate agent puts the seller and buyer in jeopardy during and after the sale.

Agents choices are to 'pretend the problem does not exist' and business as usual or apply those ethics and PROTECT the client.

That would actually take courage from a group of in-sync agents.

Since we have not been able to show, and still have buyers that NEED to buy (have no home), they need to drive by, look at all the photos, THEN write a contract without seeing inside, with a contingency of visually seeing the home in-person.    I can see where this issue would be increased during this time.

Ha!  This happened to a client of mine when I was on the phone with her just the other day, Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, CRS ... she had to excuse herself and shoo a "peeping Tom" away right in the middle of our conversation.  It rattled her quite a bit.  What are people thinking??
