I have NOT had a website for myself or my company for years Corinne Fitzgerald . That being said I am no longer a Broker/Owner of a real estate firm. What I do have and I wish I would have discovered years ago, is a Google Business Page which has been FANTASTIC in bringing in business. Anything I could do with a website I can do here. It's FREE and the tracking aspects are great. Here is my current site.

A name brand cloud provider.  I designed my own site.  No MLS integration, not useful for me and my business model.

I use my own CMS/CRM and IDX broker as IDX provider.

For hosting I use LiquidWeb (VPS).
I've had dozens of hosts over the years, LW is the best so far.

I have never used a third-party website provider or a big box brokerage website when I was affiliated with a brokerage. 

I have WordPress with IDX  Broker integration.

VPS hosting which offers all kinds of security. 

I have used a number of providers - and always with my local MLS IDX -- works for me.  Can't say one has worked better than another.  It has alot to do with you.  How you use it and if you are doing the necessary steps to be found - SEO.

I use YourSiteNeedsMe and IDXBroker.  have been very happy with both

I use Dakno. They're local but they do create websites for agents out of the area. I've been building on my website for a while. There's a back end CRM and they do ppc advertising for me.

We use kvcore, not a fan but it was not my choice.

The IDX problems have always been numerous in the past. Last one was brokerage provided with no problems.

my brokerage uses boomtown which provides each agent with a branded site.
