Back in my short sale days, I had to run escalations on many of my files. 

It may have taken me several days but eventually, I would make my way to the top of the food chain and that is where things happen.

Long Beach went down with WAMU assets taken over by Chase (Chase did not buy any assets they just 'stole 'em).

They have been gone since 2007 

Deutsche Bank took some loans from the Receivership.

Get a title company to see how many times the servicing was sold

My guess is it is SPS the tough guys for servicing.  You need written authorization to get information

You would simply contact the mortgage company and ask who is the asset preservation contact. It may take a few transfers but that's how you find them . . . or at least how I have!
