I'd argue we allow a lot of other stuff that harms SEO (canned content, robo-posting, non-topical content, etc) ----- links back to our sites and places where we can capture leads should be given an extra boost especially considering the lack of juice we currently get from the AR platform.

There was something nagging at me in the FAR recesses of my brain that this was not a bad thing but, I could not remember the details to save my soul!

Thank you for the update.  I do believe, in fact, I know, there is a better solution.  I guess it is a matter of paying for it and/or the Dev Team's knowledge of how to do it.

I don't pretend to understand what a "no-follow" (or a DO follow) link actually means, or does... I'm a technology dinosaur and the fact that all of this stuff actually works is magic as far as I'm concerned.  But if the Active Rain developers tell me that "No-Follow" is intentional and that it's the best way to go... I am good with that.

If you get a site visitor, when you have lots of fresh worthwhile content, you get return visits. The no follow link is a "hint" of what's in the box of information chocolates. It's up to you to deliver and turn the no follow into much more traffic that gets shared. Build the fire.
