The invention of the automobile revolutionized living patterns, giving rise to the suburbs and enabling people to leave crowded cities to build homes farther away.

The 1920s introduced zoning laws, shaping how land could be used, while the 1930s brought the creation of the FHA and the modern mortgage system. Post-WWII, the first housing boom ushered in the era of modern real estate agency representation—and with it, enter my grandparents, who were both Brokers from the early 1950s through the 1980s.

As for how I’m seen? That depends on each individual’s perspective. However, my clients consistently view me as relational, organized, honest, hardworking, reliable, loyal, a straight-shooter, experienced, a teacher, a guide, and a friend. How do I know? I read my reviews! 🦃 Happy Thanksgiving! 🍁

How do people see me?  As a Real Estate Broker?  

   Hmm, how to answer that question with modesty and humbleness?   Here goes...

  For the past 20+ years, almost all of my business has been repeat clients and referrals.   

      People obviously "see me" as a Broker who can be trusted to help them achieve their goals and objectives.  They also "see me" as someone they can confidently refer their friends and relatives to, when those people need the services of a professional Real Estate Broker.

They see me by appointment. 😎

Everything starts somewhere by someone. There is a first for everything. As for how people see me, that depends on my position in their life. Different people see me in different ways. Mostly good, I hope but I don't fool myself into thinking everyone likes me, and that's ok.

I always worked to satisfy the needs of my client. When I did it well, the benefits were terrific. I created my own luck. The drawback was it took work to be successful. 

Real Estate like everyday life continues to change and evolve.  The past is important as it continues to be a part in the present as well as the future. 

There are those who say perception is reality.  Connection in any kind of relationship is critical to its success. While no longer active in the industry, I am grateful for the history realty has played.  Hopefully, some of those I interacted with have similar thoughts.  I am not so naive to believe that all do. With that said, Happy Thanksgiving.

As for friends and family - locally, they have worked with me so, they view me the same way. They also love that they know I'm a true southerner and they often joke that I use that as my superpower when it comes to business and negotiating! 

The version of land ownership comes from that movie where people put a stick in the ground to declare the land as their own.
