YES,  I can't really say there is a trend in this market.  I specialize in vacation rental/investment properties.  Typically, folks are just getting out of this market because they find they are not using the property as much as they once were.

Elderly couple, he is blinder than a bat, her hearing is poor. But together the different disabilities work as a partnership. Like two junk cars to build one usable one. Then one died. The other can not function alone.

Seems like most are still moving into a bigger house.

With the land sales most are aging out of the property with no kids to take over so they are pocketing the money to use for other investments.
