There's still too much room for error in AI.  I read an article last year written by AI, where it recommended regularly mowing your artificial grass.  Then there was Google's AI the made the Founding Fathers black, or the one that advised to eat a pebble every day.

No, it's programmed by humans who are flawed.  Lots of issues already in real estate with agents using AI and not checking the work and getting inaccurate sales comments, etc.

Plus, it would need to pass an exam to be an agent out here.  :)

AI may someday take over, but likely not completely I'm my lifetime. Anything developed by humans to imitate human action is flawed. So, relax and keep providing superior quality service. The only thing your competition can't duplicate is you and that includes competition  from AI.

Wow, isn't it wild to think about how AI is creeping into every nook and cranny of our lives? I mean, who would've thought that robots would soon know more about real estate than we do? It’s like they’re the new neighborhood know-it-all, but instead of gossiping over the fence, they’re crunching numbers and scanning contracts.

You’re spot on about human intervention being crucial for now, though. I mean, let’s be real: would you want a robot negotiating your home sale or trying to break the ice at an open house? "So, what's the square footage? Are these countertops quartz or just a clever paint job?" Yeah, I’ll take the human touch behind door number 2, please!

But as AI continues to evolve, those hefty commission checks may just be heading for the history books. Can you imagine a future where a bot successfully negotiates your deal while you’re busy binge-watching your favorite show? “Sorry, can’t chat! I’ve got an AI negotiating my purchase and sale agreement and closing costs with my mortgage lender AND making me coffee!”

Still, there’s something to be said for the wisdom and empathy a human brings to the table—not to mention the ability to navigate the emotional rollercoaster of home buying and selling. So, while AI can help streamline a lot of the boring stuff, I think we’ll still need our licensed agents to remind us that it’s okay to feel excited (or terrified) about making such a big life decision.

We had nothing to fear but fear itself.  FDR, 1933.

You have a very far reaching question, If I can actually find a specific question there.  AI is just a tool that will be used by a few and mastered by a few more.   AI does not know the truth but will spout the facts desired by the person asking the question.  Time saver?  hopefully

The more things change, the less they change.

AI seems fun to play with, though I have seen plenty of serious errors leading to distrust and potential lawsuits for those who trust it too much in serious matters.

Humans still have the need to interact with other humans. A.I. has become a useful tool and it should be carefully used. Like sending electronic contracts, it does make it easier, but we still interact with the customer. A lot of my customers prefer the call instead of texts. I am not sure if commissions will convert to hourly charges, if they do, we may possibly make more, lol

Which would you rather shake and bake dish out and consume?

Currently, AI learns from the internet. A large portion of the internet is social media and comment forums. The average American reads at a grade school level. So, AI is learning a lot from grade school level commentary. It has been shown that AI is already becoming dumber the older it gets and the more it learns from the internet.

I have seen AI articles where it says one thing in the first paragraph and then something completely contradictory in the next paragraph. No fear here.

If that ever happens, Richard Alan Naggar, and I do not believe it will,  it likely will not be in my lifetime.  I'll be watching from above if/when robots become "human" and the "humans" are robots.

AI is only as good as the public information available and we know how that is. I think there are some things AI is more likely to be correct about and others not so much.

AI is coming quickly, and it is going to be an interesting world to live in, haha.  It is already interesting and not always in the ways that I enjoy.

Richard Alan Naggar - AI is as real as Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, and the Easter Bunny. If you keep believing it is the real deal, rather than receive leads, buyers, and sellers you will very likely get sued.

But robosts cannot show a property in person. Maybe the society will edge further apart. Everyone needs a skill to earn $$$ I can envision a day where AI Robots do 99% of the lifting. Watch out "Guaranteed Universal Income" and "you will own nothing and be happy" could be closer than we realize.
