I learned long ago that it's very important to make sure content is formatted for mobile devices since that is where people view it the most. I do it a little bit, but I don't think I could do the bulk of my work from a mobile device, haha.

I believe mine is mobile friendly. Like Brian England said, I prefer to do my work on the desk top. All the devises have their own purpose, for example, I use my table mostly for church, it is easy to read the bulletin. On the road, my phone does well for quick check ups on emails, texts and calls. My desk top is the best for all the magic I create:) Katina

Here in the Rain I learned from Candice A. Donofrio that photos cannot be more than 640 for mobile viewing. It isn't sufficient to be mobile friendly, one must be educated further on formatting and/or hire a web developer..

Our personal preference is irrelevant (mobile, laptop, or desktop). The world is gravitating toward Mobile. Our websites MUST be mobile-friendly.
Nice post and a good call to action. Thank you, Andrew!

There are some sites that are definitely not mobile friendly and luckily being retired I can avoid. For those still active, I feel your pain.

I do not notice because I work from my laptop with a 24" monitor.
Talking and texting is what I use my phone for.

We also have a mobile app so clients use that. As for first time lookers our site is mobile responsive. Not the full version, but photos and listings and idx do great.

When I am browsing, especially looking at photos, I prefer my desktop. I just looked at my Google Analytics, and 61% of my web visitors are on desktop, 37 % on mobile and 2% on tablet. My web provider made my site mobile friendly many years ago.

I find that happens for most apps and it is a source of frustration for me Andrew Mooers | 207.532.6573

I am not sure everyone with a website fully understands the importance of having a responsive designed site. But I also know at least one person that thought they'd have a web design firm build them a site and their office would compete with an agent that built out her/his site for over a decade to really dominate the search game.

I use my mobile device to keep up but nothing beats sitting down at the lap top. I think developers are spending too much time working on apps but the band width in certain areas especially a major weekend/holiday with lots of folks using their phones stinks. frustration sets in and nothing moves.

I no longer have a RE website Andrew Mooers | 207.532.6573 but I do need to check and see how my son's looks like that we just took out.

Mine works on a mobile, but is designed for a computer. Personally, I try to avoid visiting sites on my phone. Life's too short to not use a 27in monitor.
