God Bless our Troops.

God Protect US from Evil. 

America was preserved by people who were honored to live here and were willing to give their life to preserve that quality of life for others.

  Happy 4th of July,  Richard (richie) Alan Naggar !

        We must honor those who fought for the Freedom that we enjoy. 

        And we should remember, it was NOT "The Americans vs. the British".  No, it was British Citizens of the Colonies, who rose up against the tyrannical Government that was taxing them and controlling them.

     Those men "pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor".  Many of them did indeed pay with their lives and their fortunes.

        The Declaration of Independence also proclaims,  "...Whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it."'

  Today, in America, we have been subjugated by the Federal Government of Washington, D.C.   We are taxed and regulated far beyond what The Patriots of the 1700's faced from the King and his army of tryannical bureacrats.   

      And "our" Government of Washington D.C.  is under the almost complete control of foreign lobbyists (AIPAC), big corporations, and the so-called "Elite" (including the Federal Reserve Board).

   If we call for the abolishment of the Federal Government, we may face the same trials, tribulations, and deaths that the great men and women of the 1700's faced.   Or the same fate that befell the Southern states in the 1860's when they tried to sever the ties with Washington.

   So what can be done?   On this day, let us remember the American Revolution.   Let us celebrate with fireworks and cookouts and yard parties.  But let us also take a moment of quiet reflection, and remember what our Forefathers did in 1776!

Both of my grandparents made their way to this country and I am forever grateful. My father was in the Army Air Corps and my uncle in the Army. 

I thank this country's forefathers who took a chance to follow what they believed in.   I wonder if we have born children who are willing to do the same if necessary.

As well as thanking those who serve today and volunteered to do so.  

Sadly I think the freedom people died for has eroded a lot, but still the best place to live in the world.

As I was watching the fireworks last night, I was thinking of the great  freedoms we have here in AMERICA, The opportunities that we have to succeed in any field. There is no other place like AMERICA! I thank God for the people that made it possible and still safe guard us. We as individuals must continue to protect our liberties for future generations.

It was the courage & efforts of 56 men who committed treason against the Crown & signed the Declaration of Independence that started the American movement. There have been many more who have tried and failed to undermine our country, BUT we are returning to our roots, imho

Five signers were captured by the British as traitors, and tortured before they died. Twelve had their homes ransacked and burned. Two lost their sons in the revolutionary army, another had two sons captured. Nine of the 56 fought and died from wounds or hardships of the Revolutionary War.

The pen is mightier than the sword.

No kings since 1776! That is quite an accomplishment on behalf of those brave enough to step up and declare AMERICA to be FREE!

I pray and thank the American Soldiers during the Revolutionary War.  The weather and lack of sleep the endured was horrendous.  God Bless them.
