No and No! No children come to our home - it's not exactly on a main road with sidewalks and stuff. I did, however, buy some dark chocolate JUST IN CASE kids come and it happens to be the same kind my hubby loves.

You definitely need to sample the candy before giving it to kids.

Our neighborhood has a block party.  Free wine, free beer, and a taco guy.  I plan to be there.  I'll leave a bowl of candy on the doorstep with a sign saying to be respectful of those that follow and only take 2 pieces.

I like to go all out & make it special as these kids are only kids for a short while & memories count here. I give out flashlight necklaces to all kids, then a finger light plus quality selected candy good for fun or nutrition. Hey trick or treat lives at my house all love driven too

No candy to give or to eat at my winter retreat. There is a Halloween dance  / costume party... and the World Series game will be on in the Ballroom, Bar, and outside on the patio for everyone to follow. 

We'll be ready, but doubt there will be many takers on our street. We'll have to get rid of the candy somehow; hope not to eat it.

Usually, since we have lived where kids were not allowed to "trick or treat", I ate the candy. This year, we are not sure what the turnout will be, so I will hold off until tomorrow.

I did break down and buy two bags. So far, I have not indulged. Chocolate is not my thing.  

We will be handing out candy this evening. I will not be eating any. I have my own stash of candy.

Will be door to door just like real estate prospecting Will Hamm but for candy, not listings with the grandchildren. Love Halloween, put on the costume and it's fun, safe. Everyone gets into the holiday in small Maine communities.

I will have to eat all of them myse;l?  I live in a condo building, and haven't had any trick-or-treaters knock on my door for years and end up eating whatever I buy.  

No. Tomorrow night (Halloween), I’ll be the Halloween unicorn—rare, majestic, and absolutely not handing out candy. My porch light will be off, my candy bowl will be empty with a note saying ‘Help Yourself’, and my willpower will be flexing harder than a bodybuilder in a Snickers ad.

While the neighborhood kids are out there dressed as sugar-seeking missiles, I’ll be inside like a Zen master of restraint, sipping herbal tea and radiating candy-free serenity. No KitKats. No Twix. Not even a rogue candy corn (Remember them? It’s made of 97% industrial-grade shellac and 3% nostalgia). I’m so candy-free that my dentist sends me holiday cards. He even has a portrait of me with gleaming pearly whites hanging in his office. My pancreas nominated me for sainthood. And my doctor? Oh, my doctor is thrilled. He’s probably throwing a confetti-free party in my honor, complete with carrot and celery sticks and a slideshow titled “Lew: The Anti-Cancer Legend.”

I’m not just skipping candy—I’m rewriting the Halloween narrative. I’m the plot twist no one saw coming. The ghost of sugar past. The patron saint of self-control.

So while others are rolling on the floor in a chocolate-induced coma, I’ll be rolling on the floor laughing at how epically candy-free I am. 🍬🚫👑🎃

Pumpkin carving is my gig.  Started on Wednesday with washing and cleaning them up.  Carved 2, 2 more yesterday and the last one today.

Yes we'll be handing out candy but don't expect many kids other than a few little ones that live in the neighborhood which is always fun.  Eating......douthful.  But you can bet Gary will!

If anyone shows up we will, otherwise I will continue to enjoy the bags of goodies that my wife always buys.

Never eat candy, but we passed out a lot to trick or treaters at the office!

My wife and I both stay home on Halloween.  I watch TV and my wife hands out the candy.  She loves to see the kids and their costumes.

I's a diabetic and probably have eaten fifty mini candy bars since Halloween.

Ate some, passed out some and then went to see the live production of Wicked at our local theater.
