Nothing says holiday cheer like turning Christmas into a therapy session. Forget mistletoe—pass the tissues.

Ah yes, the lyric that makes everyone squirm. Nothing says cozy holiday duet like questionable beverage consent.

Yes, you’re right, Bob, we don’t want a “merry little Christmas.” We want a BIG HONKING FAT CHRISTMAS—the kind where the lyrics should be: 

“Have yourself a Merry XXL Christmas, may your waistband burst tonight…”

Because honestly, compared to hippos, donkeys, and drunk daddies, a big fat Christmas sounds downright wholesome.

Happy Thanksgiving, Bob.  While there are some things I like more than others, I try not to use the word "hate".  I admit I am not consistently successful in that - I guess, it's another example of how contradictions exist in music and everyday life.

I do like most Christmas songs, but I don't like them starting before Thanksgiving is over. 

As for me, a Merry little Christmas is just fine.

Bob. Not a big music fan so I rarely remember the titles. Know which ones I like when I hear them and can identify to the ones I don't even easier. And, this year I may have to change my mind as dictated by my grandkids. Enjoy your day.

Christmas is a time for joy. No time to for me to hate on any song. 

Bob "RealMan" Timm I'm with Katina Hargrove 352-551-0308 I hate that Mr. Grinch song. Never could figure out why it's played at Christmas. Then again, I would choose never to hear it in any season.

Anytime I hear "Its timeeeee" by Mariah I roll my eyes and keep it moving!

I wouldn’t say I hate it, but the song “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus” has always thrown me off. I mean… why is Mommy kissing Santa? Is she trying to score better presents for the kids, or does she just have a thing for older, bearded men in red suits?
