about 50% of our clients access our site with a computer and the other 50% via tablet or phone.  We tend to have older clients that still use a computer a lot of the time.

Not at all for me at this time Peter Mohylsky, www.athome30a . I know you are talking about devices BUT I have to mention I was a mobile Notary so I had to have a good set of wheels back then. 😉

I couldn't really calculate that. My site is mobile friendly is all I know. And with some 90% of my business being repeat and referred, I don't worry too much about being mobile friendly.

I find it very important because I often need to access MLS or other sites to help me with what I need while in the field. I've also prepared offers and other disclosures remotely so my client can electronically sign immediately. It’s been a real game-changer for me.

Text and email and Showing appointments and checking active listings on the go (mobile) and in the car very important. Contracts no, mostly from the office with eSign.

It's a good question, Peter. Today, when something of interest comes up to a cell phone user, they look it up right there & then. That's the system don't fight it. Thank you Peter Mohylsky, www.athome30a

I believe it is vital since most things in real estate are time-sensitive and need to be dealt with as soon as possible.

Not at all by the time I retired. Since then the newer the agent the more mobile friendly they must be. Some established agents who work almost exclusively by referral less so. All agents still trying to expand their business 100%.

Mobile friendly means way less real estate display space. How clunky or cluttered is your website's mobile version? You cannot just shrink down your primary website url.

Careful thought needed in how to use the hamburger for drop down choices Peter Mohylsky, www.athome30a. To retrieve fast and not confuse and still be tucked away to easily slide, swipe, tap without driving a mouse.

It is easy to see how many in the audience access YouTube videos on their big screens, not just phone, tablet, laptop, desktop. Stats broken down on device used for the feed.

Well, what do you mean?  Do you mean from the consumer to use our provided sites/tools, or do you mean as the real estate professional to use our tools?

Since the vast majority of my business is word of mouth/past clients/established business relationships, it isn't important.  Especially since the majority of people who view my content are doing it at the office on a computer.

For me, as a professional, I almost never use the phone's browser for business.  When I do, it's to copy & paste some basic info from one of my internal sites.  I will not use the phone or any mobile device for contracts or anything that requires attention to detail.

So, I guess the overall answer is "it isn't important at all".

It's definitely very important. I wouldn't have a web provider that didn't make my site mobile!

Many of my clients use their phones for everything pertaining to real estate. So, why not accommodate them when it's a simple 'click' in a website design?!

I would say, very important. It's very convenient to have options to work on the phone or laptop when in the field. A lot of clients like to receive mls listings on their phone, too.

Peter Mohylsky, www.athome30a - Effective communication is always the reason why business succeeds or fails. Communication comes in many different forms. Whether it's being "mobile friendly, text, or something else, if communication isn't a two-way street, a dropped client will often be worse than a dropped call.
