I think that the answer is yes to the questions you ask, and I know that "influencers" crave that sort of attention for their channels, haha.

My firm has a hard rule of two and half minutes and put the important stuff FIRST.

I have heard that, Tom Ferry suggests calling a team of friends and relatives right after posting to have them watch, like and comment on the video.

So far I have not tried this, however I should.

Have to be honest, haven't seen a video I can watch much past 2 minutes, they lose my attention.
