Having worked on and around trading desks at Bulge Bracket banks (the largest banks)- Most IPO's dip after opening, but if you a true believer in the stock, that might represent a solid opening to buy. While I don't give opinions on individual stocks, the stock market has been way overvalued for at least 2-3 years now. Think of the old cartoons with the Coyote running past the end of the cliff...that's where we are in the equities market. If we are going to have a crash anytime soon it's going to be in Sept/Oct. An easy catalyst is whether we open the Strait of Hormuz or not because WTI reserves (US light sweet crude) is at very low levels. We could ban exports- but that has it's own complications. If the reserves in Cushing, OK go below 20 million barrels- Houston, we have a problem. Right now it's at 21 million barrels and normally it's around 40 million barrels. The bottom 20 million in storage is unusable sludge- so if we don't get the Strait open soon- the price of oil shoots up- and bring the economy down with it and that unsustainable equities markets can come down crashing.

We are on the edge of a tipping point economically...but it is possible to avoid this....let's see.

This has been a hot topic here on the Space Coast the last few weeks. I know a few people who bought at the IPO but I decided against it. Most of the folks here think it will drop after the IPO and buy then, depending on price.
