Non tech...my water bottle. I live in Manhattan and space is at a super premium- so my desk is rather compact- not a lot of room left after my laptop, ipad, phone stand and space for a notebook.

My phone is usually on my desk, if I am sitting at it, and is by far the most useful thing, along with my laptop, which is also on my desk, if I am sitting at it, haha.  But since both of those deal with technology, let me think, haha.  I would say that the next most useful things are my mug filled with warm green tea for my health, and the calendar, so I know what day it is, haha.
