Thomas Mapother IV was born in Syracuse, New York back in 1962 to Thomas and Mary.  He spent his childhood in Canada before moving to Beacon Hill, Ottawa where he attended the Robert Hopkins Public School.  He returned to the United States when he was in the sixth grade.  He attended the St. Francis Seminary in Cincinnati, Ohio. Eugene Bennett Fluckey was born in Washington, D.C. back in 1913. He graduated from Wester High School when he was 15.  He was a member of the Boy Scouts achieving the rank of Eagle Scout.  He prepared for the Naval Academy at Columbian Preparatory School in Washington. Frank Luke Jr. was born in Phoenix, Arizona Territory back in 1897. Harry Love was born in Vermont circa 1810, he left home at an early age to be a sailor.  Ending up in Texas he fought in the Mexican-American War with the U.S. Army.  By 1846, he served as a scout, an army express rider and led an exploration up the Rio Grande.  By 1850, he joined the California Gold Rush but was unsuccessful in the mines.  He wound up being a Deputy Sheriff in Santa Barbara, California.  By 1852, he was working as a bounty hunter.  In 1853, California Governor John Bigler started the California Rangers placing Harry as the commander.  By order of the governor he gave Harry specific order to capture or kill Joaquin Murrieta.  On the morning of July 25, 1853 near Monterey four men were killed, two captured and three escaped.  One of the men killed was Murrieta, assuring ... 07/24/2021

Clarence Walton Lillehei was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota back in 1918 to Clarence and Elizabeth.  He attended West High School graduating in 1935.  After graduation, he attended the University of Minnesota earing 4 degrees including a B.S. Fielding Lewis was born at Warner Hall, in Gloucester County, Colony of Virginia back in 1725 to John and Frances.  His mother died in 1731.  He worked for his father, at a retail store taking it over in the 1750’s.  he was a successful merchant before the American Revolutionary War.  During the war he was appointed as Commissary General of Munitions.In 1769, he started construction of a large Georgian mansion which was completed in 1775.  It contained some of the most refined colonial interiors of any surviving mansion.  It has been designated a National Historic Landmark and is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  He died in 1781, he was 56.What you may not know is that he was the brother-in-law to someone you may have heard of, George Washington.Your day is worth... 05/26/2021

Thelma Adele Patten Law was born in Huntsville, Texas back in 1900 to Mason and Pauline.  She graduated from Booker T.
