VAL VISTA LAKES ARTISAN MARKET in GILBERT AZ On Saturday May 8 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Val Vista Lakes in Gilbert AZ held their Spring Fling outdoor Artisan Market. This was a perfect time because it was just in time to buy a Mothers Day gift for that most special person. The market was set up in the parking lot of the beautiful Val Vista Lakes Clubhouse, and there were more than 60 Artisan vendors in attendance with a variety of products. The booths offered a wide variet of gifts at reasonable prices, which included photography, paintings, purses, bracelets, earrings, ceramics, gourmet olive oil, candles, greeting cards, dog treats, and many more wonderful surprises. The Artisan Market at Val Vista Lakes also provided live music for the participants. Michelle Haney, the Val Vist...

Top of the Rock Restaurant in Tempe near Gilbert AZ Gilbert AZ has a lot of nice places to eat, but on special occasions like Mothers Day we like to go to a restaurant that is very special, either for the food, location, reputation, or view. One favorite of ours that we go to on occasion is the Top of the Rock. It's located in the Buttes, a Marriott Resort in Tempe. It's just off of Highway 10 and Broadway. The restaurant is a round building with panoramic views looking to the northwest toward the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. You can see the planes landing if they're landing to the west, and if they're landing toward the east, you can see them taking off as they head east.   The building is situated on top of a hill and in between two huge mountains of rock. The hotel lobby registratio...

Arizona Home Stager Shares Warm Weather Marketing Tips. When Selling a Home in Arizona, it's helpful to remember these warm weather tips.   In Arizona, temperatures are rising through the day, and it's important to maintain the home at a comfortable temperature.  This may mean running the air conditioning even if the house is vacant.  But it's important that potential buyers are comfortable when viewing the home.  Not having it cool will make the buyer wonder if the air conditioning is in good working order.  Also, you want the buyers to stay awhile so they can notice all the outstanding architectual features of the property.  A professional Home Stager will remind you of this. It's also a great idea to always have chilled bottled water in the frig. available to anyone viewing the prope...

Is there such a thing as a 'good bug'?                        YES! Recently, in Gilbert, Arizona, the school lesson was all about the benefits of ladybugs. The objective was to teach school children about the benefits of a ladybug and why they are so beneficial. And, yes, the class was held outside in the Centennial Elementary School in Power Ranch.                                                 For, example did you know that a typical ladybug can eat more than 50 aphids a day. And, in the spring a ladybug can lay up to 300 eggs. No wonder they are hungry. So many eggs to produce in their short, 3-6 week life. This program has been successful to the point that over 3 million ladybugs have been released into the environment in the Power Ranch master planned community in Gilbert. Congrat...
